I may be able to save the Burda blouse
I have had an idea, and can't wait to try it! It involves taking the shirt apart, so unfortunately, I don't know that I will have time for it today. I wonder how hard it is to do those fabric covered buttons, though, and whether Walmart would have any (since that's the only place around here). Hmmmmm...

I've had good success with covered buttons - make sure you get the ones that you 'shove' the fabric underneath the shank (it's a two piece gadget - a white flexible piece you put the fabric and button into and a blue piece that works the fabric under the shank). I've never been able to get the other kind (the kind with the 'spikes' that you have to work the fabric in yourself.
