What would you do with this fabric?

I received this gorgeous fabric from overseas. I am at a loss as to what to use it for! It is almost 40" across, and I have ~2.5 yds of it. It feels similar to a quilting cotton, but I think a little heavier. I don't quilt, and I don't want to use it for a purse, either. What can I do with it?





EDIT: Oh no! I just realized my knitting progress bars have gone away! How can I fix this? Yikes!! Someone please help!

    How about a fun, halter style dress?

    I'll have to keep my keep my eyes open for patterns.

    How about a denim style jacket.
    Team it with some white capris and use some of the fabric as trim for the capris.

    whenever I see cool fabrics I see skirts in it ! Just plain skirts, kinda knee length, skating style..
